  • In-person & Zoom

This course examines the critical distinctions between the original appraisal process and the Reconsideration of Value (ROV) request. Students will explore the purpose, procedures, and professional responsibilities involved in both, with a focus on maintaining objectivity, transparency, and compliance with USPAP and lender guidelines. The curriculum provides a clear understanding of when and how an ROV may be appropriately initiated, the appraiser’s role in responding, and best practices for navigating these requests without compromising ethical standards or valuation credibility. By the end of this course, students will be equipped to manage ROV situations with confidence and professionalism, ensuring sound appraisal practices are upheld.
